Yin Studio was established by Cathy Bell in 2006 to focus on providing a wholistic, natural approach to healing.

 Yin Studio has built a solid reputation since it first started in 2006. It is widely recommended by GP's, Chiropractors and Osteopaths in the local area. 

Qualifications

All Acupuncturists are required to have a minimum 4 year degree in Health Sciences to maintain continuing registration with the National regulatory body AHPRA, Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority.  They oversee the professional status of all registered allied health practitioners and doctors.  I also have a Diploma of Remedial Massage.

I am a member of  ANTA, Australian Natural Therapists Association. Health rebates are available.

Experience

Cathy Bell has undertaken extensive continuing education courses since 2010 to stay current on women’s health and fertility in particular. Her extensive herbal and nutritional knowledge pairs perfectly with her specialised acupuncture treatments to give individuals the best chance to become holistically healthy.

These courses have been with some of the leading Chinese medicine experts: including US Chinese Medicine Master Dr Richard Tan; US facial acupuncture specialist Mary Elizabeth Wakefield; and fertility specialist Jane Lyttleton. More recently I have been studying with the leading exponent of Master Tung’s style of acupuncture, Susan Johnson from the US.
